SciMed Acquires Distribution Rights for Falcon® Plasticware and Corning® Cell Culture Surfaces, Enhancing Life Sciences Development in Singapore

Singapore, February 6, 2023 – SciMed (Asia) Pte Ltd (headquarters: Pandan Loop, Singapore, hereafter SciMed), a leading distributor of life sciences and healthcare products in Southeast Asia, announced that it has renewed its strategic relationship with Corning Incorporated (headquarters: New York, USA, hereafter Corning), one of the world’s leading innovators in materials science. With this relationship, SciMed’s product portfolio in Singapore will now offer products that support research institutions and pharmaceutical companies through enhanced research workflows.

SciMed is a subsidiary of PHC Holdings Corporation, a global healthcare company that provides precision products and services in the areas of diabetes management, healthcare solutions, and diagnostics and life sciences. SciMed is committed to distributing high-quality solutions that meet evolving research and scientific requirements to advance innovation in life sciences such as cell and gene therapy research.

With the renewed strategic relationship with Corning, SciMed will become a one stop solution provider offering end-to-end solutions for cell culture, drug discovery and bioprocess. It will be distributing Corning’s popular Falcon® brand products exclusively in Singapore, as well as Corning® brand products.
